SOV SEXUAL PURITY CAMPAIGN
Intra-School Debate
THE TOPIC
Virginity / sexual purity in this generation: possible or impossible?
SCOUT Campaign 2026
WHY THIS DEBATE
An initiative of SOV Nigeria — a gradual, strategic answer to the raging fire of sexual immorality engulfing young students across our nation.
The idea is simple: create excitement around the topic and let the students themselves — boys and girls — air out their minds. Then, little by little, spark a trend on PURITY.

How it works
Four debaters per school
Selected by the school authority. Boys and girls are represented on both the ‘possible’ and the ‘impossible’ side.
The debate
Students argue it out in front of their schoolmates, with roll-up banners keeping the message and the excitement in focus.
Real rewards
Every debater gets a T-shirt. The winner in each school takes home a ₦10,000 SCOUT cash award.
Our stand
At the close, SOV shares its stand on purity in a small booklet: 1,000 copies per school, for boys and girls — 10,000 in all.
SPARK THE TREND
Igniting fire talks on purity, online
With parental consent, we capture the striking moments from each debate and share them across social media — so the conversation doesn’t end when the hall empties.
