About PCPc

Pre-Campus Preparation Course is an intensive training initiative of the School of Virtue for Secondary School leavers preparing for the higher institution (e.g. University, Polytechnic) with the aim of equipping them to live a godly, undefiled, wholesome & successful life on campus and thereafter.

What To Expect

The course content is bible based, rich and wholesome and it promises to enhance the campus life experience of participants who commit themselves to the PCPP curriculum.

At The End Of PCPC, Participants Should Be Able To:

  • Discover their true identity (self-discovery) and set out on a solid, genuine and personal relationship with God
  • Understand the University grading system, administrative structure as well as an effective way of interacting with the system and their studies.
  • Identify common dangers and distractions in the higher institution and how to avoid them.
  • Possess basic life skills critical to survival away from parents even after campus e.g. cooking skills, doing domestic chores, General hygiene, Communication skills, Dress Sense, social etiquette etc.
  • Understand the basic rudiments of Godly relationships as well as the biblical prototypes of how to progress into a healthy marital relationship.
  • Subscribe to sexual purity with a strong commitment against social vices (addiction to drugs, clubbing, drunkenness, pornography etc)
  • Establish solid mentor/mentee relationship that outlive the camp meeting.
  • Identify what type of business or business skill they have interest in and the basic rudiments of setting up a business.
  • Possess basic financial intelligence (savings, investments, prudent spending, accountability etc.)

How Classes Run

Each PCPC Module/Class is rich in content and will be handled by 1 or 2 trained facilitators. There will be interactive sessions, group presentations, power point presentations and video enhancers to further drive home the lessons.

Each class is designed to make the participant confident and ready to tackle Campus life in all its entirety. Participants are well equipped for life on campus and after campus. To ensure that this is achievable each participant will be assigned mentors, peer mentors and access to the class facilitators for future guidance.

Onsite (For those living in and around Abeokuta)

For me, PCPP has provided a platform for mentorship which is one of the major keys to ensure and monitor an individual's growth. PCPP helped me to understand the true meaning of Love and how to separate myself from lust and its appearances. Finally, PCPP helped me to understand the necessity of having a relationship with God and how I can have a wonderful experience in the university and in life if and only if I can submit to God genuinely. On hearing about PCPP, I thought it won't differ much from any other program. How wrong I was. PCPP contributed a lot to my spiritual growth, it equipped my knowledge about certain subjects like identity, campus life, relationships and others.
